There are foxes living close by in the neighborhood so it is not uncommon to see one in our yard. Usually, they pass by quickly and you see them for a few moments. On this day, the fox captured a chipmunk and stayed in the yard for quite a while. This photo was taken through a double pane slider door. The pounce is an example of "mousing" activity.
