Taken in Kruger National Park in South Africa. We were told of a pride of lions with a Cape Buffalo kill. As we approached. you smelled it before you saw it! The kill had happened the day before and the lions were still feasting on it. There were several females and over a dozen cubs of various ages. The males had finished eating and were nearby taking a nap.

The females generally make the kill. The males only help if needed.
