Peter Rossato

Peter’s father was an avid photographer and that heritage has stuck with him since his youth. The early memories of the time spent in a dark room developing 35 mm, medium format and plate film are still very vivid. The magic of watching blank paper be exposed to light and turn silver nitrates to a permanent image has always fascinated him.

After dedicating himself to an engineering and business career he decided to return to photography embracing the new digital technologies. So LightRoom and Photoshop replaced the dark room and gelatin prints, but the magic of creating a pleasing image still fascinates him. Peter’s inspirations come from what raw beauty nature provides us and what we are able to craft from natural elements.
